Print setup

Use paper your printer supports. Matte 105–120 GSM makes a flexible insert or sample card; heavier card stock needs compatible media handling. Use manual duplex if required.

Print Letter portrait at 100%. For two sides, flip on the long edge. Cut only the two outer vertical dotted lines, removing 0.25 inch from each side. Place the comic side face down, with the back facing up. Fold the bottom half behind the top, then the right half behind the left, on the dashed guides. Finished insert: 4 x 5.5 inches.

Estimate your mailing weight

One sheet: 7.24 g. With a 4.5 g envelope, a 3.1 g postcard, and a 0.1 g stamp: 14.94 g.

This estimate includes the untrimmed sheet. Weigh an assembled sample. Thickness, stiffness, flexibility, and envelope dimensions also affect machinability and postage. A weight below one ounce does not guarantee one-stamp eligibility.
