Using AI to connect the signals behind a personal health problem

A useful role for AI is helping make sense of signals that don’t point to an obvious answer on their own. In “Unlocking the Migraine Puzzle: How AI, Genetics, and Nutrition Solved My Chronic Migraines,” I describe how a genetic variant affecting my methylation cycle and homocysteine levels, together with specific triggers, helped me understand my chronic migraines.
I used AI, genetics and nutrition to work through that picture, and I report a significant reduction in migraines after taking targeted supplements. That’s a personal account, not a protocol for someone else. The professional lesson I draw from it is about scope: AI can help connect information across domains, but a useful explanation still has to stay grounded in the particulars of the case.
