Separating fact extraction from the claims a profile makes

One design decision in my crawler agent prototype keeps paying off: separating fact extraction from user-facing claims. The prototype fetches approved public links and pulls timestamped facts, then normalizes that evidence before it reaches the professional memory.
Keeping those two steps apart matters. Extraction can be literal and cautious, while the claims a profile eventually makes stay reviewable and grounded. It's a small architectural boundary, but it's the difference between a profile that quietly inflates and one that stays honest about what the evidence actually shows.
