Separating extracted facts from public claims in a profile agent

Abstracts

Most profile tools ask you to write the claim first and find evidence later. I've been building ProfileScribe the other way around. A crawler agent prototype fetches approved public links and extracts timestamped facts before anything reaches the profile itself. That separation matters: fact extraction and user-facing claims are two different jobs, and collapsing them is how profiles drift from reality.

The payoff is a review queue where every proposed profile change or post draft traces back to a source. It's slower than autofilling a bio, but it keeps the profile honest about what the evidence actually supports.
