Route access by relationship, not urgency

Availability should be routed by relationship, not by the urgency of a request.
In “Availability is a routing problem,” I argue for predictable calendar slots for external contacts and reserving off-hours access for internal leadership. A scheduled conversation gives the discussion a duration, a purpose, and a next step without making a founder permanently interruptible. The point is to protect room for judgment, not just to make the calendar more comfortable.
