What 'generalist' means when building AI systems

I describe myself as a generalist, and building ProfileScribe is a good example of why. The work spans agent product design, backend APIs, frontend review workflows, and data modeling for professional knowledge. None of it is impressive in isolation; the value is in holding the whole loop together—from fetching a source to drafting an update to putting it in front of a person for review. Being comfortable moving across those layers is how a small system stays coherent.
