Designing an agent that drafts about you, carefully

Abstracts

Agent product design isn't just about what an AI system can generate; it's about what it should be allowed to claim on someone's behalf. ProfileScribe is built around that constraint: the drafting step only works with what's in durable profile memory, and it's built to say less rather than overstate when the evidence is thin. That's an unusual default for a product meant to write copy about a person. It comes from treating the agent's judgment as something to design deliberately, not just a capability to expose. The interesting product problem here is restraint, not fluency.
