COVID-19 screening questions may need to be answered before I can make a lactation home visit. The Lactation Consultant Home Visit — Lactation Consultant NYC page also asks families to call and discuss their needs before the consultation.

That call serves two purposes: it helps us plan a safe visit for mom and newborn, and it gives me a chance to hear what breastfeeding help the mother is looking for.
